Lilypie 2nd Birthday Ticker

Mummy is going to work on Monday..

Saturday, November 24, 2007

Oh, my dear Mum will be going back to work on Monday and I have to spend my day at the infant care... So far, the teachers have been very nice to me... But it's a bit boring as Mummy wasn't there to play with me... I will miss Mummy & Mummy is going to miss me terribly too!

Mum bought me a very nice knitwear from Fox Baby yesterday... This is it! I will surely look handsome in it...

Hiya, my cousin Jaerone was born 2 days ago @ Gleneagles Hospital, Penang, at a whopping weight of 4.5kg! (That's my weight at 1 month, oopsss!) Welcome on board, Jaerone! Looking forward to see you.... :)

Hey, this is how Daddy looks like when he was young.. *grin*

Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Finally, Daddy managed to find a picture of himself when he was young... He put in a lot of efforts, digging all those dusty photo albums to find this picture, hee hee... Do you think I look like him? Mummy said I look more handsome than Daddy wor...

The flu is finally over in our family.. It all started with Daddy catching the flu bug from SAF.. Though he quarantined himself in the study room, but the flu bug caught me due to my weak immune system... Lastly, Mummy also got herself into trouble...

But now, everyone has slowly recovered & regained their stamina.. Thank God!

Our darling Edison's first day at Infant Care

Thursday, November 15, 2007

Little Edison spent his first afternoon at his Infant Care today. He seems to be doing well at his Infant Care. The teachers commented that he is well-behaved. He has been such a lovely boy.

He was smiling on his way back home from Infant Care and we believe that he enjoyed being there... The environment at the Infant Care is cosy, good air ventilation, nicely decorated and clean.. The teachers are friendly and caring.... And most importantly, Edison has a lot of new friends there....

Everyone is so concerned about Edison's first day at Infant Care.... Uncle Kenneth purposely applied annual leave to visit him... *So touched!* Both grandma & grandpa are happy to see that Edison is doing well today... Well done, Edison! We love u & care for u so dearly...

He finally say his first "Ah-Goo" today

Tuesday, November 13, 2007

Our darling Edison has finally utter his first "Ah-Goo" today.. I am totally amazed & surprised!

He is also exceptional happy today and keep smiling... I managed to take pictures of him smiling!
He is such an adorable child.. He wakes up every morning, with his bright eyes roaming around the room.. He loves to go out & see the world... He loves to exercise by kicking & punching... He throws his tantrum once in a while, knowing that Mummy will surely give-in to him... He loves to play with the 2 spiders on his Fisher-Price bouncer, hope he won't become a Spiderman in future... Many many more to say about my darling Edison...

Yo! I'm 2 months old today!

Sunday, November 11, 2007

One month has passed & I am 2 months old today, time flies!

This month, I spent most of my time at home with mum. I have been to many places too, just to mention a few - Suntec City, Takashimaya, Wisma Atria, Paragon, Marina Sq, Orchard Pt, Centrepoint, Junction 8, Thomson Plaza & AMK Hub. Among all, my fave hang-out is Suntec City!

I m getting more & more interested with toys. Mum & Dad bought me some toys during the Deepavali sales. Yippee!

But sad to say:
- Mum & Dad have quarrelled quite a bit bcos of me
- Mum will start work in 2 weeks' time
- And I will be going to infant care in 3 days time! *Sobz sobz*

My comical little look:

Learning to suck my fist now.. [So young but yet dream of eating KFC, oooh, finger licking good!]

Daddy feeding me at Kenny Rogers restaurant @ Suntec City..

And finally my handsome face @ 2 months..

Interesting stuff to share with all Mummies out there..

15 things that will change when you have a baby ~~

1. Where you once believed you were fearless, you now find yourself afraid.

2. You respect your parents and love them in a new way.

3. You find that your baby's pain feels much worse than your own.

4. Your heart breaks much more easily.

5. Bodily functions are no longer repulsive. In fact, they please you. (Hooray for poop!)

6. You look at your baby in the mirror instead of yourself.

7. You discover how much there is to say about one tooth.

8. You finally realize that true joy doesn't come from material wealth.

9. You'd rather buy a plastic tricycle than those shoes that you've been dying to have.

10. You don't mind going to bed at 9 p.m. on Friday night.

11. "Silence? What's that?"

12. You realize that the 15 pounds you can't seem to get rid of are totally worth having.

13. You no longer rely on a clock — your baby now sets your schedule.

14. You take the time for one more hug and kiss even if it means you'll be late.

15. You learn that taking a shower is a luxury.

And he is the reason for the changes in me.. I personally think that #11 is the most interesting!
