My first visit to Changi Airport

Monday, April 14, 2008

Last Friday, I met Uncle Chi Eng when he was transiting in Singapore on his flight back to Penang. We had a short coffee break at Starbucks before uncle boarded the 6:55pm flight to Penang.

After that, we visited the newly opened Terminal 3. Oh, it is so beautiful with a unique design. Almost all the walls are made of glass! I can see planes taking-off and land on the viewing gallery at 4th floor. Natural greenery can be seen everywhere in the building. Here are some pics to share with you:

We took the Skytrain from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3.

In the skytrain...

Yes, its Terminal 3!

Can u see the greenery behind the glass wall?

B2 @ T3 has a variety of food outlets and NTUC supermarkets. We had our dinner at Popeyes Restaurant. Popeyes used to be Daddy's fave reataurant in US. But the quality of the food is far from the American standard.

I'm having my cereal dinner...

Yummy yummy...

For those who are concerned about the parking charges, dun worrie... Now, you can get the first hour free parking if you spend above $30 in T3 (both shopping & dining).. Enjoy the new shopping and dining experience at T3 now... =)
